The Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation proposed amendments to the law that permit the sale of alcohol in all cultural institutions. Now the law allows them to sell alcohol only in the concert and theatrical halls, and parks.
In the prepared amendment of the Ministry of culture proposes to abolish the ban on the sale of alcohol in the provision of catering services in establishments whose owners carry out “activities in the field of culture”. The rule will apply to all cultural institutions, explained RBC in the press service of the Ministry.
The existing restriction on the sale of alcohol infringes on the rights of cultural organizations and attending their citizens, the authors of the bill in the summary report. In fact, the Ministry proposes to bring back the old rule until 2016 to sell alcohol could in any organizations culture, but then these opportunities are limited. The restrictions unreasonable and must be eliminated, said the representative of the Ministry of culture.
