In March 2019 will be a discussion and vote.
In March next year the European Parliament will consider the decision to suspend action of the Agreement on partnership and cooperation (PCA) with Russia.
This is stated in the published draft report of the European Parliament on the relations with Russia.
According to the document, in March 2019 will be a discussion and vote.
“The European Parliament believes that the PCA should be discontinued. Relations between Russia and the EU need to be reformatted and to continue only in those areas that are necessary and mutual interest to ensure the safety and peaceful European order”, – the document says.
The draft report also States that “Nord stream-2” increases the EU’s dependence on Russian gas and that the EU needs “to be ready to impose new sanctions, such as personal restrictions, in response to Russian actions”.
