The judges of the constitutional Court of Ukraine elected the new President of the court Natalia Shaptala.
“The new Chairman of Saptala”, – said the Agency interlocutor.
Natalia Shaptala was born 18 APR 1959 in Donetsk.
In September 2010 she was appointed judge of the constitutional Court of Ukraine.
24 Feb 2014 the Verkhovna Rada adopted the resolution “On reaction to the facts of violation by judges of the constitutional Court oath of judges” who were fired for violating the oath of judges 5, the COP and suggested that the President and Congress of judges dismiss for violation of the oath 7 judges.
Among the latter were Natalia Shaptala.
The basis for dismissal of these judges by Parliament acknowledged their acceptance in violation of the law and their responsibilities a number of high profile decisions during the rule of Viktor Yanukovych in particular, in the so-called parliamentary “carcasses” and in the case of the return of the Constitution of 1996.
